About the Service

Precision PCB Fabrication
From Prototype to Production

The PCB is the foundation of every electronic product. At S.B. Electronics, we manufacture boards with process discipline at every stage — from incoming material inspection to final electrical test.

We use high-grade FR-4 as our primary substrate, with Tg 150 °C and Tg 170 °C class laminates for designs that demand thermal reliability. Our engineering team guides laminate and stack-up selection so you never over-specify or under-specify.

Board Types

What we manufacture

From simple prototype boards to complex high-density interconnect designs — choose the board type that matches your application requirements.

Single Sided PCB

Conductive tracks on one side only. Ideal for simple consumer electronics, power supplies, and cost-sensitive designs where component density is low.

Learn more →

Double Sided PTH & NON-PTH

Copper traces on both sides with or without plated through-holes. Suited to industrial controls, communication modules, and mid-density designs.

Learn more →

Multilayer PCB

4, 6, 8 or more copper layers bonded in a single stack-up. Enables high-density routing, dedicated power/ground planes, and controlled impedance for high-speed signals.

Learn more →

Flexible Circuits

Polyimide-based circuits that bend, fold, and flex. Used in wearables, medical devices, cameras, and anywhere space or repeated motion rules out rigid boards.

Materials

Substrate & laminate options

The right material choice directly impacts reliability, thermal performance, and cost. Here is how we guide selection.

Most Popular

FR-4 — Standard Tg (Tg 130–140°C)

General-purpose glass-epoxy laminate for most consumer and industrial applications. Cost-effective, widely stocked, excellent mechanical and electrical properties.

Recommended

FR-4 — Mid Tg (Tg 150°C class)

Our default recommendation for most designs. Better dimensional stability during soldering, suitable for lead-free assembly processes (ROHS compliant builds).

High Performance

FR-4 — High Tg (Tg 170°C class)

Superior heat resistance for power electronics, automotive applications, and assemblies with high reflow temperatures. Preferred when boards are exposed to elevated operating temperatures.

FR-2 / CEM-1 / CEM-3

Paper-phenolic (FR-2) and composite epoxy materials (CEM-1, CEM-3) for single-sided and low-cost double-sided applications where FR-4 is over-specified.

Polyimide (Flex)

High-temperature-resistant flexible substrate. Excellent for dynamic flex applications (repeated bending cycles), wearables, and medical devices where thin, light, and flexible circuits are required.

Surface Finishes

Choosing the right surface finish

The surface finish protects exposed copper and determines solderability. Each has trade-offs in cost, shelf life, and assembly process compatibility.

Finish Best For Shelf Life Lead-Free Notes
HASL Through-hole, wave solder 12 months No Most cost-effective; uneven surface on fine-pitch pads
Lead-Free HASL General SMT & THT 12 months Yes RoHS compliant; good wettability; slightly uneven on QFP
ENIG Fine-pitch SMD, BGA, RF 12 months Yes Flat surface; excellent for fine-pitch; higher cost
OSP SMT reflow, short-run 6 months Yes Flat, co-planar; not suitable for multiple reflow passes

DFM Guidelines

Design-for-manufacturing tips

Following these guidelines helps avoid production delays and ensures your boards come back exactly as designed.

  • Minimum annular ring: 0.15 mm for drilled holes
  • Copper-to-board-edge clearance: ≥ 0.3 mm
  • Solder mask expansion: 0.05–0.1 mm per side
  • Text size: minimum 0.8 mm height on silkscreen
  • Avoid solder mask slivers < 0.1 mm between pads
  • Include drill files (.drl / .xln) with Gerbers
  • Specify impedance requirements in fab notes
  • Panelisation: add fiducial marks and tooling holes
